Thank you for your encouragement, comments on the blog, and emails. Despite the class cancelations, myself and entire team of Hipcooks Studio Managers continue to work each day. We plot and put systems in place to make Hipcooks (even) better. I wonder if it’s at all possible to host small group, Zoom-based cooking sessions? I’m imagining something where a handful of people join a Zoom meeting, introduce themselves, then stay on mute for a bit so that the host can talk without the sound of a bunch of chopping/sizzling, but chime in with questions at particular moments. There’s lots of downsides to that approach, including if folks don’t have all the ingredients. But I wonder if there’s a way? Perhaps if it’s announced far enough in advance and paired with the newsletter? – Erica

Ok…THIS is how you send a newsletter. I’ve been to several classes and love Hipcooks! I hope the closures don’t permanently hinder the business. That said, this is exactly the kind of response that other businesses should be using as a social media lesson. Funny, spot on, and (most importantly) relevant.
