Keep it Green with Hipcooks! We’ve got a hip-swayingly delicious Mojito. Delightful Minted Pea Crostini are yummy pops of bright green on a plate. Be in the green, baby!
Ingredients and Equipment for Keep it Green
This will serve 2 to 4 people, depending on the number of limes you have.
dark rum, light rum, or spiced— it all works! (Make it a mocktail with a splash of bubbly water or ginger beer.)
4 juicy limes (more limes equal more cocktails: double up for Round 2)
a bunch of mint
1 clove peeled garlic
a 16-ounce package frozen peas, defrosted
¼ red onion
1 small baguette
staples: olive oil, sugar (or brown sugar or agave)
garnish: parmesan or and hard cheese
Equipment
Cocktail shaker with muddler & strainer (or a mason jar, lid, and mesh strainer) and plenty of ice
Measuring cup or cocktail jigger with ounces
Cutting board & kitchen knife, and a veggie peeler
Food processor or a potato masher
